Books
What I’m reading and listening to this week?
I’m reading the Your Erroneous Zones: Step-by-Step Advice for Escaping the Trap of Negative Thinking and Taking Control of Your Life.
"Your Erroneous Zones: Step-by-Step Advice for Escaping the Trap of Negative Thinking and Taking Control of Your Life" is a groundbreaking self-help book by Dr. Wayne Dyer. In this work, Dyer offers practical advice and techniques for overcoming self-defeating thoughts and behaviors, helping readers shift from a negative outlook to a positive, proactive approach to life. The book addresses common 'erroneous zones' like guilt and worry, providing actionable strategies to break free from these traps, thereby encouraging personal growth and fulfillment.
One quote from the book;
"Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change." - Wayne Dyer, "Your Erroneous Zones: Step-by-Step Advice for Escaping the Trap of Negative Thinking and Taking Control of Your Life."
I’m listening to the book “The Everyday Hero Manifesto: Activate Your Positivity, Maximize Your Productivity, Serve The World” by Robin Sharma.
He is a globally renowned leadership expert, motivational speaker, and best-selling author known for his profound impact on individuals and organizations worldwide.
His journey as an author began with the self-published "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari," which quickly gained international acclaim and paved the way for his successful career.
"The 5 AM Club," another seminal work by Robin Sharma, is a self-help book that promotes the concept of waking up at 5 AM and implementing a 20/20/20 formula (20 minutes of exercise, 20 minutes of planning, and 20 minutes of learning) for overall self-improvement and enhanced productivity.
The Everyday Hero Manifesto: Activate Your Positivity, Maximize Your Productivity, Serve The World" is a transformative guide by Robin Sharma that encourages readers to unlock their potential and influence the world positively. Through engaging narratives and compelling advice, Sharma focuses on fostering positivity, enhancing productivity, and, most importantly, serving humanity, allowing readers to initiate meaningful change in their lives and contribute to the world at large.
One quote from the book;
“No. Genius has far less to do with your genetics and much more to do with your habits. Stepping into the person you’ve always imagined you could be is a trained result—available to anyone willing to open themselves up, do the work and run the practices that make magic real.”

Running
I was able to run 9km this week, and planning to complete my weekly goal of 20 tonight.
If you are interested in running I highly recommend finding a group or setting a target/race to motivate yourself. To find groups, you can search local groups on Instagram or check the Strava app Clubs section. For races, you can do a Google search or click this link.
If you are planning to start running but are not able to do, let me know about your questions or challenges.
Recommended Newsletters and Apps ;
Here are some recommendations from me;
Newsletters;
AleAlex and Books; I really enjoy reading Alex’s newsletter on reading and books.
Apps and Tools:
Bitwarden
Previously I have used 1Password, LastPass, and iCloud Keychain for password management. This month I switched to Bitwarden; here are the main reasons why I made this choice;
Open-Source and Transparency: Unlike 1Password, LastPass, and iCloud Keychain, Bitwarden is an open-source password manager. This means its source code is publicly available, allowing anyone to review, verify, and contribute to its software, providing an extra level of transparency and trust. In the realm of cybersecurity, open-source software is often considered more secure as it is continuously scrutinized and improved by the global community.
Pricing: Bitwarden offers a compelling free version that includes features such as unlimited password storage, syncing across all devices, and secure password sharing. Furthermore, its premium version is significantly cheaper compared to competitors like 1Password and LastPass, making it a more cost-effective choice, particularly for individuals and small businesses on a tight budget. You can use it completely for free or get the premium version just for $10 per year.
Cross-Platform Compatibility and Ease of Use: Bitwarden provides a seamless user experience across a variety of platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and web browsers, much like iCloud Keychain, 1Password, and LastPass. However, Bitwarden stands out for its straightforward, clean, and intuitive user interface, making it easier for users to manage their passwords effectively.
Thanks a lot for reading and your support!
