A Glimpse into My Week and How I'm Boosting Productivity

I hope you are doing well.

Today is the 25th of July, and it's Thursday. I wasn't able to ship the newsletter yesterday, but I wanted to keep my commitment to do it weekly.

Where I’ve been?

This past week was a bit busy. I was trying to complete the training content for the consultancy or training facilitation work that I will be doing next week in Turkey. I'm still in Germany but traveling this weekend.

The weather here is quite nice—cool and sometimes rainy—but I think in Turkey, it's very hot. Next week, I will be going to Amman, Jordan, which I expect to be very hot as well. So, I’ve been enjoying my time here in Germany.

What I’ve been doing?

I've been working on content development for my training, some email projects, and our residence permit application, which has involved a lot of administrative work. That's why I haven't recorded any videos or published anything in written form in the last few days.

But starting August 1st, which will be the last day of my training, I hope to get back to content creation. I'm currently at the Ruhr University Bochum campus and have found a nice pathway from my child’s kindergarten to the university library.

What I’m listening?

I’m listening to David Huberman’s podcast Huberman Lab and Cal Newsports' podcast The Deep Life. My favorite episodes are below.

What about fitness, health & running?

In terms of fitness, I haven’t done much except for walking around 10,000 steps per day. I hope to start running in Turkey next week. Here in Germany, I couldn’t manage my time and energy effectively with other responsibilities and work commitments.

Productivity/Personal Development Tip of the Week

Digital Minimalism: This week, I'm challenging myself to practice digital minimalism.

I deleted the Instagram and YouTube apps from my phone. I think it's really useful, and I already have seen a major decrease in my screen time. I'll keep you posted in my next newsletter episodes.
